Overview of each nation's association

[Japanese association]: Established in 1966. Has about 2,900 member companies. Market share is 85%, and annual sales are ¥4 trillion.
[Korean association]: Established in 1984. Has about 500 member companies among the total about 5,000 companies nation-wide. Market share is about 70%. One of major activity of Association is to educate all 5,000 companies' owners once every year for advising changed government rule and regulations, etc.
[Taiwan association]: Has about 60 member companies (about 10% of traders in this business in Taiwan). There are about 30,000 cleaning workers. The size of the market in Taiwan is said to be about $600 million.
[Singapore association]: Has about 40 member companies (about 10% of traders in this business in Singapore). There are about 40,000 cleaning workers, and the association is devoting its efforts to training them.
[Malaysia association]: Has about 60 member companies (about 10% of traders in this business in Malaysia). 2000~3000 workers have been hired by the member companies.
[Hong Kong association]
[Shanghai association]: Established in 1992. Has about 1,200 member companies (about 45% of traders in this area). The member companies hold about a 70% share of the market. The association has been devoting its efforts to improving the quality of the industry and to exchanging information with other nations.
